Intermediary Liability

The debate on intermediary liability should be framed in the proper context of evaluating the substantial economic and cultural benefit - including the development of enhanced search services, online marketplaces, web 2.0 applications and social networking -that has arisen from the online industry as a result of the E-Commerce Directive, the provisions of which should be protected.
